St. Louis de Montfort Parish Winter Weather Policy

At St. Louis de Montfort Parish your safety, especially your travels to and from our Campuses during the winter months, is a priority for us.

We are working closely with the local news stations in order to make you more aware of any and all delays or cancellations of Masses, Ministry meetings, Parish events, etc…

Here is our Winter Weather Policy:

• During the Week, Monday thru Friday:
  • If Region 20 School District has a school delay in the morning, ALL morning activities at St. Anthony’s, St. Thomas, and Our Lady of Grace are CANCELLED. All evening activities can still take place.
  • If Region 20 School District has an early dismissal from school, ALL evening activities at St. Anthony’s, St. Thomas, and Our Lady of Grace are CANCELLED. All morning activities can still take place.
  • If Region 20 School District CANCELLS school, ALL morning and evening activities at St. Anthony’s, St. Thomas, and Our Lady of Grace are CANCELLED.
  • For WEEK DAY MASS: Regardless of a delay, early dismissal, or cancellation of school, Mass will still take place at St. Anthony’s Church at 8:00am. PLEASE use your BEST judgment in driving out in the snow or bad weather conditions.
  • For MONDAY CONFESSION AND ADORATION: Regardless of a delay, early dismissal, or cancellation of school, Mass will still take place at St. Anthony’s Church at 8:00am. PLEASE use your BEST judgment in driving out in the snow or bad weather conditions.
• During the Weekend, Saturday and Sunday:
  • If there is bad weather either on Saturday or Sunday please note the following change in Mass Schedule (We will operate under code “Winter Weather 1”):
    • 4:00pm Vigil Mass at Our Lady of Grace, Bantam
    • 8:00am Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Litchfield will be CANCELLED
    • 9:15am Mass at St. Thomas of Villanova, Goshen (GIFT Faith Formation will be CANCELLED)
    • 11:00am Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Litchfield
  • ALL activities will be CANCELLED
  • PLEASE use your BEST judgment in driving out in the snow or bad weather conditions.
  • IF any of these Masses is CANCELLED due to bad weather conditions, please visit our website for any posts or updates. Additionally, please see on the local stations “St. Louis de Montfort Parish” and it will update you on whether services or events are cancelled or not.
• We will update our website and phone systems regarding any and all changes due to the weather conditions.
